Kate Laine Jewelry
Kate Laine Jewelry, created in 2004 and owned by Katherine Lewis from West Nyack, NY. They use pearl shapes such as biwa, keishi, and coin, and large focal point Swarovski crystals in their designs. They also utilize druzy gemstones, Balinese shells and abalone, mabe pearls, aquamarine, chalcedony, and labradorite gemstones. The metals they work with are sterling silver and 14 karat goldfill, and recently have added copper, gunmetal and bronze as accent metals. In addition to wire wrapping techniques, they have begun to incorporate hand stamping into their collections. They are inspired and influenced by an oceanic shabby chic styling.
